Real Matching
The Silicon Valley - New Japan Summit is an invitation only two-day summit to connect Silicon Valley startups and Japanese companies. We collaborated with TECHBLITZ, a Japanese tech media, US-Asia Technology Management Center - Stanford University and Japan Management Association to hold this summit at Stanford University, the core of the Silicon Valley ecosystem.
The summit features a Biz-Dev booth where Silicon Valley startups and Japanese companies can directly talk business, as well as lectures and panel discussions on examples of cooperation with Japanese companies that will both stimulate and inform. This summit will generate collaboration between Silicon Valley startups and Japanese companies.

His research and teaching focus on innovation systems, the impact of new technologies on industry value chains, and open innovation management. Dr. Dasher serves as an advisor to universities, national research institutes, and government S&T funding programs in Japan, Thailand, Canada, and other countries. He is also active as an advisor to start-up companies, business accelerators, venture capital firms, and nonprofits in Silicon Valley, China, Japan, and S. Korea. Dr. Dasher was the first non-Japanese person ever asked to join the governance of a Japanese national university, serving as a Board Director and member of the Management Council of Tohoku University from 2004 - 2010. Dr. Dasher received M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Linguistics from Stanford University.
